Camp Chesterfield, Indiana

Founded in 1886 in Indiana, Camp Chesterfield is one of the oldest continuously operating Spiritualist camps in the United States. Established as a summer retreat for mediums, lecturers, and Spiritualist practitioners, it became a significant center for education, healing services, and public demonstrations of mediumship.

Camp Chesterfield played an important role in shaping American Spiritualism by providing a structured community where beliefs could be practiced, taught, and examined. Its longevity reflects the enduring appeal of Spiritualism and its ability to adapt across generations while preserving its core traditions.
